Carson Douglas Ham

We have started getting ready for Carson Douglas Ham to arrive in the fall. Yes, that's right we have officially decided on a name. We are so excited! Justin thought of Carson, and I loved it. Justin's middle name is Douglas and his dad's middle name is also Douglas. We are in the process of picking out bedding, furniture, and paint colors. It is so fun but also hard to make decisions. I am now 20 weeks along and that means that I am halfway there! Carson is moving and kicking all the time. It is so neat to feel him inside me.

I turned 16 weeks on Thursday!! On Friday I went to have a sonogram and Justin & I found out that we will be having a little boy! We are so exctied!! Once you know the sex of the baby it just makes being pregnant so much more real. We can finally start seriously thinking about names and a baby room. My mom and Dad came in town on Saturday and of course my mom and I went to every baby store around. We had a great time.

Our First Bolg

It is finally time for a Ham Family Blog. Justin and I are so excited because we are finally expecting a BABY!! It has not been an easy journey but we did it together. As most of you know it took us almost two years to get pregnant. We started trying for a baby in May 2006 and had our first appointment with our fertility specialist in February 2007. I had to have laproscopic surgery in July 2007 and we tried several IUIs before turning to In-Vitro Fertilization in February 2008. And it worked!! The picture above is our baby at 6.5 weeks. It is just a little peanut!
