It has been a busy first month of the year. But for some reason we did not take many pictures. New Years Eve my parents were still in town so they babysat Carson while Justin and I went to a New Years Eve Party. Carson went to his first rodeo. My sister, Ellen, got engaged right before Christmas and will be getting married June 19th in Breckenridge, Colorado. We are so excited for her and Jared!! So one weekend my mom, sister, and I flew to Breckenridge to plan the wedding. We had a great time! That same weekend Justin went hunting and Carson was left here in Midland. Luckily Carson has great grand-parents, aunts, and uncles! He got to spend the weekend with everyone. I was very fortunate and was able to go on the Women's Retreat with our church last weekend. Carson and Justin had a great time together. Other than that we have been working and playing with Carson.

Skiing!!

While my mom and dad were in Midland visiting during the Christmas Holidays, Justin and I took off to go skiing in Ruidoso. Minnie and Bubba are great babysitters. The weather was great and the skiing conditions were perfect! We had a wonderful time with Justin's dad and stepmother, who have a house in Ruidoso.

December - The Holiday Season!!

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. Justin and I are so blessed to have an amazing little boy and a great family to enjoy him with. We hope everyone had a joyful holiday season!

November - Carson turns ONE!!

I just cannot believe that is has now been more than a year ago that Carson was born. He has been such a blessing to have in our lives. Carson's first birthday was November 3rd. We celebrated with a Pooh Bear birthday party with family and close friends. Carson is just so much fun to be with. He is happy all of the time!! We spent Thanksgiving in Waco with my family. There are just so many things to be thankful for! Carson officially started walking while we were in Waco at the bowling alley. He just stood up and started walking in the opposite direction. It was too cute!! Now he just walks everywhere now.
